Annie Sloan Polished Plaster is a water-based paste that creates a polished plaster effect on walls and furniture. Polished plaster, also known as Tadelakt or Venetian plaster, is a luxurious and versatile decorative finish used in interior design. It gives an organic appearance, adding texture and warmth to interiors, and dries with a slight sheen for a marble-like finish. Traditional methods to create a Polished Plaster look involve applying multiple layers of a special plaster mixture, typically composed of lime, marble dust, and other natural additives, to create a smooth and highly polished surface. You can use Annie Sloan Polished Plaster to recreate this high-end finish in a matter of minutes. Simply apply to your surface, leave to dry, and voila!

 

How to Use:

Use a scraper, palette knife, or trowel to apply Annie Sloan Polished Plaster in a dollop before spreading around in all directions. Clean tools as you go, removing excess product. Allow this first base to dry slightly then use your scraping tool to level out and smooth the surface with the same wiping technique. Once this has fully dried, apply a second coat using the same process. For more of a sheen, once fully dry, buff the Annie Sloan Polished Plaster using a clean scraper.

Seal and protect using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Wax or Chalk Paint Lacquer.

Aftercare:

Clean tools with warm soapy water immediately after use. To maintain your Annie Sloan Polished Plaster finish, clean with a damp cloth and mild detergents.

Technical Info: Annie Sloan paints are water-based formulas contain low VOCs and are certified Toy Safe, but will take whatever life throws their way. Chalk Paints come in a matte finish; Wall Paint is available in a premium matt finish with a slight sheen, while Satin Paint gives a hard-wearing silky mid-sheen lustre and contains self-levelling properties.

Please note that colours will vary depending on screen settings. We cannot guarantee that paint colours will exactly match the colour you see on screen. If you are in doubt, please order a Wall Paint Color Card  or tester pot first.

Available in 4 floz and 1 Gallon tins. 1 Gallon is enough to cover approximately 387 square ft (36 square metres). - a little goes a long way. We’ve achieved up to 450 square feet! Though ultimately,  coverage will vary depending on surface and application!

Proessing and Shipping

We take every measure to process and ship your special item within 3-5 business days. Though don't be surprised if we some times have it together and send it out the same day!

Most of our Wood Cuts are made to order. Please allow 5-7 business days to cut or process your kit.

Preorders and Customized Hand-painted Items can take up to 2 weeks to assemble and paint to your specifications.
