The paisley shape synonymous with traditional Indian designs is inspired by the tropical mango – but named after the town of Paisley in Scotland (where many Kashmiri shawls were made). Paint in hot, spicy Chalk Paint® colours or indigo Oxford Navy to channel the Paisley Floral Garlands Annie was inspired by in Rajasthan.

- For an understated Classy look, try layering colors that are in similar tones, or that stay within the same family. Think monochormatic color theme.
- For an Artesanal, Folk Art look: Combine bold colors on White or Navy, or Black will create a fun folk art.
- Chinosiserie: Napoleonic Blue on White.
- For a Regal Look
- Add touches of gold leaf, using (Gold Size & Metal Loose Leaf)
- Roll on metallic paints,
- or dab on gilding wax.
- ChalkBoards use IOD liquid Chalk and roll or stencil on then use colorful chalks to color in, or leave as is!

Most of our Wood Cuts are made to order. Please allow 5-7 business days to cut or process your kit.
Preorders and Customized Hand-painted Items can take up to 2 weeks to assemble and paint to your specifications.
