Why You’ll Love It
The kit is designed to be inspiring and easy to enjoy! Because the artwork is already composed, you can start immediately!
Each scene offers a fresh creative opportunity, from painting mountain peaks and basalt cliffs to layering waterfalls, river water, forests, striped hills, and open sky.
Beloved Oregon landmarks, sweeping landscapes, changing terrain, and Pacific Northwest details make every scene a pleasure to explore.
Each design is printed on its own sheet of 200gsm archival watercolor paper, selected to provide a substantial, art-quality surface for painting, preserving, and display.
The paint is versatile! It’s a high quality, highly pigmented artist clay paint that can be thinned to a watercolor, left and used as is. mixed with an acrylic medium, or used drying artist oils!
With quality materials, beautiful presentation, and six complete projects in one box, Oregon Winds makes a memorable gift for a budding artist, a seasoned painter, or anyone who loves Oregon, nature, creativity, and hands-on activities.
How to Use
Painted thin, it washes like watercolor. Painted thick, it builds texture like acrylic. Mixed with oils, it becomes an oil painting. Add an acrylic medium or seal it when you’re done!
The thick cotton watercolor paper is also well suited for markers and colored pencils, giving you even more ways to personalize each design and explore different creative techniques.
Caring for Your Finished Artwork
Once your artwork is completely dry, display it in a frame or add it to your art journal.
As with any original artwork, keep it dry and away from harsh elements. Dust the surface gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
