Annie Sloan Satin Paint in Athenian Black is a perfect, glossy, pitch-black. Ideal for adding drama, making a monochromatic statement on kitchen cabinets, or contrasting with other colours, this shade was inspired by the shadow figures painted on Ancient Greek pottery.
What It Is
Annie Sloan Satin Paint is a washable, wipeable, quick-drying, water-based, low-VOC interior paint with a smooth 10% sheen. It is made for interior wood and metal, including furniture, cabinets, doors, trim, skirting, millwork, architraves, radiators, and other busy areas.
How to Use It
Begin with a surface that is clean, dry, and free of dust, debris, grease, and oil-based contaminants. Clean thoroughly with a water-based detergent. Use a specialist primer before painting metal, then apply Satin Paint with a quality brush or roller.
Coverage, Size & Finish
One 25 fl oz (750 ml) tin covers approximately 118.4 square feet, depending on the surface and application. The finished sheen is approximately 10%.
Topcoat & Care
No wax or lacquer is required. Once cured, the finish is washable and wipeable, making it a practical choice for hardworking interior surfaces.
