Stretching Forward is a Roycycled Treasures tissue paper design created for furniture decoupage, decorative art, collage, mixed media and home-décor projects. Use the complete 21 × 29-inch composition as a statement image or cut selected areas to fit drawer fronts, trays, signs and smaller surfaces.
Why You’ll Love It
You’ll love the atmospheric color and visual depth of this landscape. Used whole, it creates a calm statement scene; cropped sections can extend the horizon, soften furniture panels or add painterly color to smaller décor.
More Info
Printed on 18 lb tissue paper that is substantial enough to position and smooth while remaining thin enough to visually settle into a properly adhered and sealed surface. A light-colored prepared background gives the printed colors and fine details their clearest appearance.
Size
21 × 29 inches; 18 lb tissue paper.
How to Use
Prepare a clean surface with light-colored paint or stain-blocking primer and allow it to dry. Apply an even coat of water-based varnish or decoupage medium, place the dry tissue paper in manageable sections and smooth gently from the center outward. Allow the application to dry, trim excess paper with a 220-grit sanding block using downward strokes, and protect the finished surface with one or more compatible topcoats.
About the Design
Stretching Forward by Roycycled Treasures features a horizontal impressionistic landscape of a green and yellow meadow stretching toward a soft distant tree line under a hazy blue-gray sky, with loose layers of olive, gold, rust and lavender.
