What Is It?
Natural Impasto Medium is an artist-grade limestone powder used to thicken or extend oil paint and create raised texture. Limestone is calcium carbonate, commonly called chalk; it is different from hazardous lime. The medium contains no added toxins or preservatives and dries transparently.

How to Use It
Place a small amount of Natural Impasto Medium on a palette and add Refined Walnut Oil gradually while mixing until a smooth paste forms. Blend that paste into oil paint a little at a time until it reaches the thickness you want, then apply it with a brush or palette knife. This product works only with oil and should not be mixed with Natural Acrylik paint. Allow thicker applications additional time to dry. Dispose of large amounts of dry or mixed impasto in the trash rather than rinsing them down a drain.
