What Is It?
Natural Varnish is a water-clear, glossy, fast-drying plant-based spirit varnish made with food-grade grain alcohol, natural resins, oils, and other natural ingredients. It can protect paintings, canvas, wood, stone, metal, plastics, sculpture, crafts, musical instruments, and fine furniture from dirt and grease.

Why You’ll Love It?
It can serve as a final protective coat, a retouching varnish, or a way to unify sheen across a finished piece. The flexible formula resists yellowing, blooming, and cracking without petroleum, heavy-metal driers, harsh fumes, or toxic additives.
How to Use It
Allow the painted or finished surface to dry completely. Apply a thin, even coat with a soft brush or sprayer and allow it to dry before deciding whether another coat is needed. Thin it with alcohol when necessary for spraying, or apply it to wood with a pad using the French-polish method. Clean brushes and tools with alcohol. After the varnish has fully cured, gloss can be reduced carefully with 4/0 steel wool, 800-grit sandpaper, or pumice. To create a translucent metallic finish, mix in a small amount of Natural Copper Mica or Natural Gold Mica until evenly dispersed.
About the Finish
The varnish dries water-clear and glossy. Coverage varies with surface porosity and application: 4 fl oz covers approximately 80 square feet on paintings or sealed or painted wood, 50 square feet on raw hardwood, or 12 square feet on raw softwood and plywood.
