What Is It?
Natural Gold Mica is a concentrated, extremely fine mineral pigment with a bright warm-gold shimmer. It contains no added fillers, additives, preservatives, or stabilizers.

Why You’ll Love It?
A small amount adds a bright metallic glow, and you control whether the finished result is translucent or strongly colored. The pure dry pigment can become acrylic-style paint, oil paint, watercolor, gouache, metallic varnish, or a mixed-media finish depending on what you mix it with.
How to Use It
Choose the result you want before mixing. For fast-drying acrylic-style paint, add Natural Acrylik Medium™ to the Gold Mica a little at a time. For oil paint, add Refined Walnut Oil. For watercolor or gouache, first prepare Gum Arabic Powder using the recipe inside its envelope, then combine that prepared liquid with the pigment. For a translucent metallic topcoat, stir a small amount into Natural Varnish. Mix slowly until the pigment is smooth and evenly dispersed; the Large Glass Pigment Muller is useful for larger or especially smooth batches. Do not mix the pigment with water alone because the water will evaporate and leave loose powder that can rub or dust off.
About the Color
Natural Gold Mica has a bright, warm-gold tone with reflective shimmer that catches the light across painted and finished surfaces. Screen displays vary, so the actual pigment may differ slightly from the product image.
